Bedford Square in London witnessed a pro-abortion rally and anti-abortion prayer vigil just metres from each other. Catholic anti-abortionists staged a ’40 Days For Life’ prayer vigil outside the offices of the BPAS (British Pregnancy Advisory Service) and on the eve of the vigil’s end, protestors in favour of women’s right to choose staged a counter demonstration to oppose what they viewed as intimidatory US-style tactics adopted by those opposed to abortion and abortion rights.
